Born and raised in the village of Milton Lilbourne, I’ve had a passion for building from a young age — starting with K’nex in the late '90s and crafting makeshift dens in the early 2000s. After finishing school, I went on to study plumbing in college and was initially set to follow a completely different career path.

However, like many at the time, my plans were disrupted by the recession, which made it difficult to get started in the construction industry. Playing it safe, I took a job at the local Co-op, where I stayed for several years, weathering the storm. Eventually, the confines of four walls pushed me to seek a more fulfilling path.

I began working part-time with a local arborist, gaining limited but valuable knowledge about trees and outdoor spaces. Shortly after, I was fortunate to be offered a full-time position with a local building company. Over the next nine years, I learned my craft in bricklaying and construction — gaining hands-on experience and building a strong foundation of practical skills.

In 2020, I decided it was time to take the next step and founded Vale Landscaping. What started as a one-man operation has continued to grow each year — building more gardens, developing more creative ideas, and helping clients transform their outdoor spaces into something truly special
